Our bespoke equipment pilates classes not only improve posture and core but aim to keep you active for life.

Pilates

Our Pilates classes in Witney are designed to give you the best workout for improving posture, core strength and rebalancing the body. Getting the foundations right is the key first step to getting the most out of the pilates practice. Our Beginner Pilates Foundation course for up to 6 people or our Full Body Mot 1-1 sessions are the stepping stones to embarking on our regular classes.

Joseph Pilates originated the method of pilates in the 1920’s and since it has been adapted into many styles and focuses. Our team mainly follow the principles of Polestar Pilates which is a contemporary approach to the original method and was designed by a Physiotherapist who viewed the method from a clinical and rehabilitation perspective. The principles include breath, core control, spinal elongation, good posture organization and fluidity of movement.

Our classes work with a maximum of 8-10 people on the mat and reformer as well as the Cadillac spring walls. We have over 30 classes on our timetable so cater to all levels and abilities from those with back care needs right up to athletic performers. Pilates is a great practice for toning, leaning and sculpting the body in a low impact environment.
Our focus is on quality movement so that everyone gets the very most out of their sessions.
