1. Eat quality protein at every meal
Choose grass fed meats, organic eggs, oily fish or legumes
to have with your meals. Oily fish are good sources of omega
3, an essential fatty acid that is needed for brain health, eye
health and its anti inflammatory properties. Eat oily fish like wild
salmon, sardines, anchovies and mackerel 2-3 times per week.
2. Add 2-3 Servings of leafy greens per day
Leafy greens are packed with fibre which will help you stay full
for longer. Mix them into smoothies, juices, soups, stews or
sauces. Try to eat a variety of these vegetables through the
week for their many health benefits.
3. Don’t fear fat
Healthy fats from avocadoes, nuts, seeds, oily fish, leafy greens,
olives, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil/milk are a great way to
sustain energy levels through the day. Low fat products often
contain sweeteners and sugars which will result in your body
holding onto fat, so swapping to those products are not a good
idea for fat loss.
