This 10 week course is designed to create better eating and movement habits for life through structured nutrition seminars and guided exercise sessions. You get the best of both worlds, dispelling myths about healthy eating and learning how to move better for improved fitness.
Who is it for?
It is suitable for anyone new to exercise or those who are motivated to eat better and move more but don’t know where to start. Some of our clients have started to get a fresh start, more guidance, be a part of group of like minded people, have a direction or start implementing the things they may know but don’t do. It also makes them develop a routine of exercise over the 10 weeks that they continue on with long term. We believe that taking time to develop permanent changes to your eating habits is what gives better results long term.
What is involved?
This comprehensive 10 week course involves attending 1 nutrition lesson and 2 exercise sessions per week. You will learn about portion control, what makes up a healthy plate, reading labels, dealing with stress, the truth about fats, and other information that will surprise and inspire you. You will get a 7 day meal plan and recipes you can use through the program and beyond that are sutiable for the whole family.
The exercise sessions will focus on strength and conditioning so you will use free weights, body weight exercises and some of our functional kit. The sessions will work with the abilities of the group and modifications and variations will be offered as needed. These are about having fun and achieving more than you thought possible at the end. Learning correct posture, how to stretch correctly, and developing good form with exercises will lead to more strength and better fitness levels long term.

“After many years of becoming increasingly more unfit and steadily putting on weight, I felt the time had come for me to really sort this. I had a another very good reason for wanting to get really fit as I am getting married in September, and wanted to look as good as I possibly could in my wedding outfit!
I was already beginning to feel stronger and fitter in my weekly classes at Bodyfit, when I saw that a Nutrifit class was starting in May. This really appealed to me, as I wanted to rethink my approach to eating. I have tried most diets during my lifetime! The appeal was that these weekly sessions with Debbie were supported by two exercise sessions as well.
Throughout the whole 10 weeks, I was encouraged to completely rethink my attitude to eating – with no dieting! The weekly menu and recipe suggestions were fantastic. No ready meals – just healthy, fresh, good quality ingredients.
I was initially slightly wary about the exercise sessions linked to Nutrifit, as I felt I might be less fit than everyone else. But although I found the first few sessions a challenge, I was given suggestions on how to manage ,and was aware that the session leaders kept a close eye on all during the classes. They checked we were feeling ok, and gave us choices so that with encouragement, we could push ourselves as much we thought we could manage – and as the weeks went on, more and more.
At the end of the 10 week programme, I felt stronger and fitter than I have for many years. I have far more energy, am told I look much healthier, and my wedding outfit fits perfectly!
