Injury Management

Our main ethos with our injury management program is to help people move better for life and to reduce the incidence of pain longterm. How do we do this? By discovering the imbalances in the body and systematically reprogramming the body to function better.  Poor posture and compensation patterns can often lead to imbalances in the muscles where some muscle tissue can become weak while others can become overworked. If this habit goes on for long enough the patterns stick, range of movement in the joints decreases and injury arises.

We have developed a system where you will work 1-1 with an instructor in our injury management program. Our first 3 lessons (Our Full Body Mot sessions) identify poor movement patterns, areas of weakness and inflexibility in the individual. Then these areas are targeted with corrective and prescriptive exercises that must be done at home for homework. We then use this information to better guide the individual into coming to our Gentle classes (semi-private class of 4 that is designed to rehabilitate those with injury) or continue with personal training.

Many of our clients have been referred by medical professionals like physios, osteopaths and chiropractors to start an Injury management program. We also have a skilled team of professionals who do massage, osteopathy, myofascial release and clinical pilates at our facility. We work as a team and refer out to professionals in the area to make sure you get the best care possible to reduce the pain in your body.
